Installation, usage and technical support for Boss Keys and Noizer.

Boss Keys: how do I install it?

Close your audio applications, run the installer, and choose VST3, standalone, or both. Rescan VST3 plugins in your host afterwards. Launch the standalone from the Windows Start menu.

Boss Keys: how do I set up audio?

Use Settings at the upper right of the standalone to select audio output, sample rate, buffer size, and MIDI input. You can also click the pictured keys to play. The VST3 uses your host’s audio devices.

Noizer: how do I install the VST3?

Close your audio host and run Qumanit Noizer Setup 1.0.0.exe. The installer places the VST3 in the system plugin directory. Reopen your host and rescan VST3 plugins if needed. A standalone application is not included.

Noizer: why is there no sound?

Noizer is an effect that processes incoming audio. Add it to the effects chain of a track with audio, start playback, and check host bypass, input level, and output volume. It is not a standalone instrument.

Are macOS, AU, or AAX supported?

Both downloads on this site are for Windows x64. Boss Keys provides VST3 and standalone formats; Noizer provides VST3. These releases do not include macOS, AU, or AAX builds.

What should I check before updating?

Save your host project and close applications using the plugin. Read release compatibility notes before installing. Open a new plugin instance afterwards and check presets and automation in existing projects.

Can I use the software in commercial music?

The Boss Keys usage notes explicitly permit commercial music creation. Each product’s accompanying notices govern its use. Free distribution does not grant unrestricted redistribution of source code or sound assets.

How do I verify my download?

In PowerShell, use Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 with the downloaded file path. Compare the result with the SHA-256 shown in Downloads.
